Student Visa Details For study in Italy
Every foreign student who intends to study in Italy must obtain an Italian student visa before entering into Italy. To be sure that the visa is issued timely, the candidate should ensure that he/she applies for the same timely, but not sooner than three month's prior to the program's initiation.
Also, remember that the visa will not be issued on the same day. This is a pretty long drawn process. The whole procedure and can take upto 60 days. Make sure the institutions/colleges/universities/schools in Italy provide the necessary Letter of Acceptance, Letter of Enrollment, Insurance Letter and Course Schedule to complete your visa application materials. A student visa is issued only for the time the program is valid.

  • One application form duly completed and signed at the Consulate;

  • A letter from your bank indicating your account number, financial status, and balance. The letter must be signed by a bank official
